I wish I could understand Polandball comics. I get some of them, but most of them I don't understand because of the flags involved. Anyone else feel the same?

Like in this one above, I don't understand what Canada is "wearing". But I still lol'd at the rest.

It's the Canadian flag prior to 1965 when they changed to the Maple Leaf flag.

And before that it was the union jack. And before that it was the french royal flag. Before that it was whatever the vikings used for a flag. I'm thinking a shield, or a masthead, or the guy who used to live there spread out on stakes.

Canada is wearing the Red Ensign which was our flag until 1965 when we got the current one.
